Many moons ago, when I first started my coaching journey I had a small cohort of athletes who wanted to break away from their regularly scheduled WODs. At this time, I was coaching at CrossFit Lee’s Summit* and doing mostly weightlifting for myself, although I’d hop into a WOD or two from time to time.
Eventually, there was enough curiosity and interest to warrant some separate programming related to weightlifting, but not neglecting the #wodlife. I volunteered immediately, and in no time the small militia of victims was ready to embark on their lifting quest. These are their stories.
